- Melissa French, from a Dog's Fun Playce, was lead trainer at the first Pit Bull University Training class on Saturday, October 14th at Spay Neuter Kansas City. There was a great turnout and the class was a success! Many volunteers helped make it possible by contacting pit bull owners and trainers interested in participating and assisting Melissa during the class. Volunteers included Zach Narus, Abby York, Shannon Wells, Michelle Davis, Bob Bretell, Constance, Erin Jungermeyer and Shanna from Kansas City Dog Advocates and Mallory Ortega from Country Kennels. Zach and Abby have contacted 12+ trainers for future sessions and two new trainers have signed on! Great job, Pit Bull University volunteers!

- Sherri Morris and Ashley from Mid-America Bully Breed Rescue and Emily and Michelle Dormady from Spay Neuter Kansas City went on a door-to-door spay/neuter campaign on Saturday, Ocotber 14th in the Ivanhoe neighborhood. They knocked on over 130 doors, signed up 3 dogs for spay/neuter, talked to several people and left a lot of door hangers. They reported that it was a lot of fun and people were very receptive for the most part. Let's see if we can get a larger group together for next time!
